Not just an office
The Bank, in the centre of Amsterdam, constitutes a landmark in the city, a point where all major shopping flows converge.
The formerly massive and uninviting appearance of the bank building is currently being converted into an open, transparent structure at plinth and ground floor level, with due respect for its historical architectural value. On the first and second basement floors, on the principal floor and on the ground floor, large multifunctional spaces are created, establishing a link between the various shopping flows. In addition, The Bank will accommodate a number of (concept) stores to complete the range of shops in the city.
