Wagamama in The Bank
The fifth branch of Wagamama Benelux BV will open its doors in The Bank in Amsterdam in the summer of 2011. The conversion and refurbishment of the location on the ground floor of The Bank is planned to begin in mid-February 2011.
Wagamama is a worldwide chain of noodle restaurants, based on Pan-Asian cuisine. The Wagamama Asian noodle chain opened its first branch in London in 1992. Offering quick service in an informal setting, the chain is modelled on the idea of the ramen noodle bars that have enjoyed enormous popularity in Japan for centuries now. The Wagamama philosophy is ‘to serve delicious, fresh and nutritious food in an elegant, yet simple environment and to provide helpful, friendly service and value for money’. The Wagamama chain now has over 100 restaurants around the globe.

Earlier, Wagamama Benelux BV opened branches in Amsterdam (at Max Euweplein and Zuidplein), Groningen (at Vismarkt) and Antwerp (at De Keyserlei).

Following Marqt and the Ajax Experience Centre, in Wagamama The Bank welcomes yet another tenant of international stature. This development dovetails perfectly with the Kroonenberg Groep views on the future of their project concerning The Bank.
