The Bank hosted drinks gathering at the conclusion of the Heritage Open Days event in Amsterdam
On Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 September, The Bank was one of the over 60 properties opening their doors to the public free of charge as part of the Amsterdam Heritage Open Days. Over 39,000 visitors seized the opportunity to take part in this successful cultural event. The theme for this year’s event was ‘new use – old building’, and The Bank provided a convincing framework for this theme. On 10 and 11 September, the public was given the opportunity to explore this new use by themselves and to enjoy a number of fascinating guided tours of the building.

In addition to opening their doors to the general public, Kroonenberg Groep, as partner of the Amsterdam Heritage Open Days, hosted the concluding drinks gathering on Sunday afternoon. Guests, volunteers, property owners, architects, members of the press and the alderman were invited to gather on the sixth floor of The Bank to look back on the Heritage Open Days event and to enjoy the magnificent view overlooking the city centre.
